Greg has served at the senior level of local government and community leadership focusing on government operations, youth leadership, and community engagement--working extensively with leaders in government, business, and other stakeholders across the country. After working with six municipalities in three states, Greg now serves as a Partner at the Lieneur Consulting Group, focusing on stakeholder engagement, business development, and fundraising. As a civic leader he serves on numerous boards focused on youth development and education, innovation, and workforce development. He is the founder and spokesperson for the well-known, Atlanta Speaks Initiative which has recruited over 1,100 professional speakers—impacting over 20,000 students across metropolitan Atlanta.
Among other awards, Greg is the recipient of the esteemed 2018 Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award from the Boy Scouts of America-Atlanta Area Council. He is also the recipient of the U.S. Presidential MLK, Jr. Drum Major for Service Award from President Barack Obama. He is an appointee to the Atlanta Board of Education’s Equity Taskforce and active alumnus of LEAD Atlanta, Outstanding Atlanta, and the New Leaders Council. He serves as the President of the Benjamin E. Mays High School Alumni Association, and is an executive board member of the Friends of FAM, Inc, supporting students from the Atlanta area attending Florida A & M University. He is also the Chairman of the Men of BOOK, an education advocacy group, and is Chairman of the Board for Skyview Charter High School in South Fulton County, Georgia. Greg received his Business Administration degree from Florida A & M University, and his Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas, where he graduated with honors. He is a requested speaker, panelist, and moderator on the topics of civic engagement, millennial leadership and youth empowerment.
