Dr. Jocelyn Slaughter
Dr. Jocelyn Slaughter, MD is a native of Chicago, Il. She graduated from Whitney Young Magnet Highschool in 2000, and completed her Bachelor's of Science in 2004 at Howard University. While at Howard, she worked at the National Institutes of Health, served as the president of the Biological Society and became a member of Alpha Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. She then was accepted into the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and obtained her Doctorate of Medicine in 2008. In medical school she was elected as president to her chapter of the Student National Medical Association and Dean's Council. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2012 in Atlanta, GA under the Morehouse School of Medicine program at Grady Memorial hospital. She married her husband Benjamin Moore in 2013 and they now have 3 daughters - Janice, Brooke and Raven who was just born in January of 2022. Dr. Slaughter is the owner of The Healthy Woman, an Ob-Gyn and Primary Care office which opened in metro Atlanta in 2016. Today, she owns 4 offices and just hired a 4th physician to join her practice. She is a board certified ObGyn and loves delivering babies, doing surgeries, and helping women through the most intimate times in their lives.
