Dr. Randy Hines II

Dr. Randy Hines II

Dr. Randy Hines II is a board-certified family medicine physician who was born and raised in the great city of Port Arthur, Texas. He is the only son of two wonderful parents, Randy and Jeanne Hines. He attended Prairie View A&M University and received a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and later, a master’s degree in Biology. During his undergraduate studies he became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.


After acquiring his master’s degree, he matriculated to the University of Louisville School of Medicine and received his doctoral degree. He completed his family medicine residency training in Atlanta, Georgia at Atlanta Medical Center and today practices in a suburb of Atlanta. He enjoys debates about music, watching movies and sports, and also collecting shoes. 


When he's not on call at the clinic, he's on call virtually through 

his podcast, "On Call with Dr. Randy. Dr. Randy, along with his lineup of notable guests, unpack a range of topics including all things COVID-19, an ideal diet for wellness, African American-related health topics including mortality rates of Black women during childbirth, blood pressure management and risks, and a wide array of other important medical topics.
