ZANE Venture Fund is about building up our most economically-deprived, marginalized, underrepresented communities. These communities have experienced decades of marginalization through formal segregation and economic isolation, often by design. It’s become clearer over the past decade that the potential upside of investing in diverse (women, black, brown) founders represents enormous financial opportunity – companies like Away, The Wing, Mahmee, Clare, and Walker & Company have shined a light on the path forward for diverse founders. ZANE Venture Fund is passionate about supporting and advancing the work of diverse entrepreneurs and innovators, and we intend to catalyze the next generation of diverse founders to build companies that attract even more capital toward diverse fund managers and founders.
